run-in shed
Project Description
To add extra parking to this historic property, we integrated a run-in shed as thoughtfully as possible, building it into a modest hillside to reduce its scale. Opting for traditional form, the new structure doesn’t impede on the existing driveway while still serving to house three extra cars. The design—with its cobbled stone exterior and natural pine columns—ties back to the historic bank barn style of its surrounds. The overall use of natural materials continues in the spirit of only building unimposing and unpretentious additions for such landmark sites.
